Sad face
I just downloaded and doesn't work. Scam
The app records calls, and it is fairly easy to get a link to easily give other people access to the recording. However there are 2 large problems with this. 1. There is about 20 seconds of dead time between the time you hit record and the time you can merge calls. The call is still recording these 20 seconds, but you can't hear anything they say. This makes it very difficult to record the call undetected, especially if you repeatedly need to record calls with the same person. Eventually they'll get suspicious that you ask them to hold on a few seconds or have "phone troubles" at the beginning of every single conversation. Twenty seconds is a LONG time. 2. The recording quality is mediocre at best. There is a lot of digital audio interference making it completely impossible to decipher what is being said at times.
In my state it is legal to tape a phone call as long as ONE party knows the call is being taped. This app claims to have an option to allow for a beep or opt out at your discretion according to the laws of your state. Even when you opt out of the warning beep, it still beeps. Plus there is a lag in tape time, as the taping can only start after the call has been answered and only then the process starts to merge with another number which wastes more time before actual taping can start....than that warning beep. Sprint/EVO/HTC had a MUCH better app.
