Ever since I was a kid I’ve been playing monument valley and it’s become one of my favorite games. Seeing a third one come out made me so excited! I just started playing it and it is amazing so far!
This is the best game from this series I have all the games already and I hope to see more of these games thank you🙏
(❗️❗️❗️❗️Spoilers ahead!❗️❗️❗️❗️) Monument Valley 1 and 2 were both my childhood games. And now, after 7 years, a new Monument Valley game comes out, and it’s so good! I love this game so much! Basically, you play as a girl named Noor (open na noor haha get it it’s a meme), and she’s an apprentice to the “Lightkeeper” I guess? Anyways, they go around collecting sacred light to keep the lighthouse going, but soon Noor has to leave behind the Lightkeeper because of the circular button thingy. The seas then become flooded and Noor has to save a family. After the family is saved, Noor finds someone named the Nomad, and Noor finds enough sacred lights to repair the lighthouse! The game then ends there. I really love the Totem variant in this game. He turns into a boat very early on, unlocking a new way to play! I like how you can sail around the village at the end of the game and see all of the different people. You even get to see Sula from the “The Lighthouse” short! Thanks for that clever reference! You can also shape the stars like in Monument Valley 2, but this time, instead of letting go of the stars to finish, you tap the staff. This is a really cool feature in case someone wants to change their star if they want to! There’s also some more levels that will come out in 2025, so I’m excited to see what’s in store for them! Keep bein’ awesome! 😄
This is definitely a five star game. I’ve only been through some of it but I am really impressed just as I am with 1 & 2. I have one issue. My Google Pencil doesn’t work in this app. I know it’s not my pencil because it works right now and all other applications on my Mobile. Please developers let me know what I can do on my end (I prefer the Google Pencil to finger swiping). Keep. Working on monument valley 4, because I’ll be waiting. Great job to the entire team. These games are my absolute favorite.
I genuinely really enjoy this, most especially the music and artistic freedom of the levels. For that alone I’d say play it. I have not nearly gotten far enough into it, but my only gripe would be the brevity of the levels (as of level 4), and the decrease in puzzle complexity. This is subject to change though and I’m very happy for this installment.
