I can’t imagine GSI is making any money on this from regular users. I may blow through their 70% of the app price just in the first month in their server bills for downloading bandwidth. Because you have to COMPLETELY REDOWNLOAD GIGABYTES OF SAMPLES EVERY TIME YOU CHANGE PIANOS. Yes you read that right, and it is so ridiculous it deserves the allcaps. It costs us nothing but bandwidth (which for consumers is often use or lose) so if you have the time go ahead, you save money buying this rather than their piano edition bundle that doesn’t suffer this problem, the piano edition doesn’t offer so very much beyond this, and they offer no upgrade path to that edition from this. Ok then fix this nonsense and I write the glowing review these samples deserve. Yes arguably subjectively better than Pianoteq. Add a library panel that lets us keep or discard sample downloads if we don’t want them anymore. I would think most people will at least kick the tires on all the pianos so adding this friction isn’t saving GSI anything. Sometimes programmer time costs more than bandwidth but I doubt it in this case.
