Backgammon for Android

I really enjoyed playing this until I noticed that I would consistently be in the lead and then surprise! The opponent rolled doubles and won. Has happened over and over. 🤨 or worse, it would 13 to 13 and then an add would play and suddenly it was 13 to 15! I’ve lost and it wants me to start another game! Wait! What?

It would be fun, except that the AI rolls double 6s or 5s A LOT, while you, the player get a lot of double 1s or 2s. Guess I’ll look for another app that doesn’t cheat as much….or just play against other human

I don’t feel the introductory explanations are clear or helpful enough for a beginner. After the very brief tutorial, I don’t know what direction the pieces are supposed to be moving or where they even started from. Why are basic things not explained? And I do mean “basic”. I have found this to be true in other games. This is very off-putting and unfriendly to a greenhorn like me.

I have played hours of games. The number of times that the electronic player gets doubles is 2 to 3 times higher than the person playing. I have substituted players to see if I was mistaken. I am not. Please change the metrics that you use. The probabilities of the board getting that many doubles is impossible . Thank you.

The amount of times the computer gets back to back to back doubles, especially towards the end is ridiculous.
