There doesn’t need to be a definition of what is medium acidic or what the body needs on every single item. Just post the ph level on every item so we don’t have drill into it, read a paragraph about what acid does to our body before we find the ph level.
I started with a problem of diverticulitis, and was clutching at straws when I discovered this app. I use it to examine what I eat, almost all the time. I used to sit in judgment of those who were way overweight, saying, "It's not your body! Quit feeding it like it is!" Then I found myself condemned by my own words!! This app is absolutely GREAT! I no longer use Prilosec, in order to keep eating the wrong foods; a nice side effect is that I've gone from 182 pounds to 163. I'm 6'1", so I wasn't that overweight to begin with. Keep up the good work! Many blessings to you!
I have found quite a few foods in this app which are incorrectly labeled as alkaline and vice versa. Edgar Cayces list is what I used to compare. And the app is very simplistic in its description of the foods. It is not worth the money and if you rely on it, you will be eating more acid formers than you think. I want my money back.
I am very disappointed in this program. All the foods listed have basically the same information with a wide range scale of what the pH could be for each food. This program would be much better if it was more precise on the pH of each one of these foods. Plus, There could've been more information on each individual food. It's not worth the $1.99 at this time for this program to me unless there's a good update in the future. Don't waste your money until they have added more detail to the foods they have listed. You could find this all out on the Internet.
The previous reviewer unfortunately did not realize that while lemons may test acidic, taste acidic, they are in fact alkaline in regards to their effect on the body. I have not checked the other entries in detail but for the most part, this app seems right on. It can indeed be confusing which is why an app like this can be very useful. Love the graphics, easy to use. So far I like it!
