I love the free Ancient Earth app. I am sad you have to buy two apps to go farther back in time. I am happy to pay for this app, but it should include the whole timeline available. I expect eventually the resolution of the images could improve, but even now it is super educational.
SAVE YOUR MONEY! What a disappointment! I was really expecting a time-progressed movement of the continents, not holding a finger and sliding across a timeline. If you lift your finger, it goes back to the start. Could have been a great app, but instead, mediocre at best.
I was disappointed that you have to buy TWO $10 apps to get all of earth's geologic history. The control bar at the bottom of the screen is weird, wonky, and not easy to use. The globe movement is not smooth and I wish the globe stayed oriented north, or at least had the option to lock the north-south orientation. Also, there's no supporting information, which would have been easy to include. Not worth it, in short.
