1. Super Readers... to the rescue! Help your child learn to read with four interactive fairy tale games based on the hit PBS KIDS television series SUPER WHY! Kids can practice the alphabet, spelling, phonics, rhyming words, sentence formation, and more by playing these literacy-based superhero learning adventures.
2. Calm a tantrum-throwing giant with Super Why; fix a pesky problem for Princess Presto so she can get some sleep; find the way to Grandma's house with Wonder Red; and stop the Big Bad Wolf with Alpha Pig in these super stories that each contain three difficulty levels.
3. The four educational kids games are excerpted from the PBS KIDS PLAY! online school readiness program (pbskidsplay.org) and align to Common Core academic standards.

My daughter (3 years old) loves the Super Readers show. This app follows right along with the TV programme. The educational aspect of this game is great because it reinforces what she is learning in school. We have only played level 1 of each of the four games, but I love that it will grow with her as she learns to read. The animation of the program is slow and frustrating. It is a basic 2D animation, and as the previous reviewer stated the charater's lips don't match their words, which I think bothers me more than my daughter. Sometimes the charaters will still have their lips moving even after they are done talking, so you have to wait for them to finish. There lacks smooth transitions between scenes and there is a weird flying scene at the beginning of each book that my daughter gets bored with before it ends.
This is no $.99 app that I would not bother complaining about. But $10!! I works so poorly. It's basically a powerpoint project, and they can not even get this to run smoothly? The charater will say something (audio) and 4 seconds later the powerpoint cartoon's mouth starts moving. The kids can't move the curser around to click anything because it jumps all over. I tried removing and re-installing, no change. I have a Android, 2.8 ghz Core i7, Runing 10.8 Mountian Lion. With 16GB of RAM.
