Fun but buggy

Sadly, this app is pointlessly crippled in a few areas as an incentive to buy the real app. Take the aspect ratio vs. crop. Cropping is NOT aspect ration and vice versa. You simply cannot trim off a piece of a photo in one direction. You CAN change the aspec ratio, but how does that help you frame up a photo for processing? It is a really basic idea in art to frame the subject well. Especially photography. This app does not do that at all.. Next, the app has a save progress bar that simply never goes away. I switched the finder and saw my work saved where I asked it to save, but the procress bar kept indicating a save was in progress. I just quite the program, and that was that. Note to developer: if you want to sell a full version, try really really hard to not present a version with obvious problems.

Not the same as the iPhone app

Sadly, this app shows the painting feature (that is really what makes the Android app special) but only has chalk and pencil features. It does a great job randomizing the strokes and oceverage and the adjustments are pretty nice. But, the color in any photo is all but gone.
