There’s a tornado in our area. Storm Shield didn’t give us any warning and still doesn’t mention anything in the app just says there’s a storm. The whole reason I got the app was for tornado warnings. Luckily IOS warned us.
Living near Dawson Springs, KY, which was 75% obliterated in the December 10,11, 2021 tornadoes, we needed the warning given to us by Storm Shield and went into the basement before the tornadoes hit. 17 people lost their lives just in this tiny town.
I’m using Storm Shield since many years and it’s simply the best. Just this morning the app informed me that a brief rain shower would occur at 6:57am - at exactly at 6:57 it started raining for about 3 minutes. Do I have to say more?
Has the widget been discontinued because it does not load information anymore?
I’ve had every weather app out there. This is the best. The radar and warnings are great. I’d only wish they’d have feel like or projected heat indexes for the future.
