Google is foolish to remove this app for their other junky weather app. Users love Dark Sky for several reasons. Ease of use, accuracy, streamlined format packs a lot of information in a clean visual display. I won’t switch to Apples existing clunky, cluttered weather app that I can’t stand. I hate the screen clutter and visual noise, lousy accuracy, crappy appearance and more difficult to navigate through clutter. This is a really stupid move on Google’s part to take away something so enjoyable and useful to so many people. Google is really turning into the tyrants of taking away personal preferences in favor of what they want to push on us. Google’s way or the highway! Now where is that exit ramp?
I use it all the time I can follow my kids weather as they travel on their daily travels. They are located all over the country. Good for planning activities..you can tell I like it
Stick to local forecast.
I would give 5 stars if the radar gave more of a prediction of the future radar rather than what happened 4 hours ago. When I am looking at the weather I am not planning for the past, I’m planning for the future. Also, if I don’t open the app regularly, I get notifications for whatever the last city I was in when I last opened the app. Even though it’s supposed to be tracking me always. If feel like I should be getting a better app for buying the subscription.
I rely on Dark sky on a daily basis with total confidence. Thank you guys for the terrific work:)
