I love the app but can you guys have the remote mirror the TelePrompTer?
Look no further - I've tried a few of them and this is the BEST TelePrompter on the AppStore with great features. Combined with its iCue Remote app, it is just what you are looking for. However when I switch the remote to Gestures mode, three is no way to switch it back to button mode - I have to uninstall and reinstall the app to reset it. Please fix this. Also, in portrait mode, Remote app's buttons do not depress when we tap them. They depress only on landscape mode. They work in both modes but make sure they animate on tapping.
I've been happy with iCue Remote so far, after a few months of reliable usage. My one small/medium-sized complaint is that if I accidentally rotate my iPod Touch from portrait to landscape, the connection is lost and I have to reconnect. This also happens if I lock the device; when I unlock it, I have to rejoin the session. So far it hasn't been a major issue, but it has created some tense moments on-set at times, when the director and talent are ready to start shooting, but I'm now the source of a delay. Once you're connected, though, the app works like a charm! I recommend it; you just have to be mindful of holding your device still.
Dont let me write my scripts .... So useless app !!!
Unless I am missing something, if I am using an Mobile as prompter monitor and Android as the remote. In order to see where the script is I need to have a visual on the Mobile, or scroll the script on the Android with my finger (which is choppy). How about adding a simultaneous scrolling of script on the remote so you know where you are? All in all though, it s a great app that works great!
