This is well worth the price and the ease of using the program is fantastic. I fly commercial often. When asked about an aviation subject I have it all on my Mobile and don’t even need internet. I seem to always find what I am looking for. And I am 100% confident I have the most current guidance…..
Up to date and provides the FAR/AIM/Glossary that are up to date and easy to identify and reference by heading!
I travel frequently and I prefer hard copies. Digital media is the way to go when you are on the road. For the last several years I have had the Kindle version of the FAR/AIM. This is cumbersome as it is not in an ebook format and quickly moving between areas of the FAR and AIM is impossible. This app is a came changer for pilots on the go. Many folks have complained about the price, but it is in line with other publishers of the FAR/AIM. Yes you can get a free PDF copy of the FAR/AIM on FAA.gov, but good look trying to sift through that on your phone when you are trying to quickly find a reference. Give the devs some credit and pay up for the convenience and simplicity this app provides compared to a PDF.
Subscription price is insanely high for a digital version, the app auto-enrolls you in auto-pay subscriptions yet you cannot cancel the subscription on the app. The bookmark feature is hardly functional. Much of the language and verbiage does not match up with the FAA approved texts. I’ll definitely be switching to an alternate, better, more reasonable, and more practical app for the FAR/AIM.
Great support with issue I had connecting. Very happy with the level of response .
