I have no desire to listen to the same few songs every time I open the app, especially because for whatever reason it won’t save my spot in the playlist when i close the app, so i always have to restart or scroll down really far on the playlist.
This app will only play one song in one playlist
Google bought an amazing app, Primephonic, killed it, and gave us about 40% of the features back and they’re not implemented very well. No “radio” feature at all, whereas in Primephonic you could select a facet (like Baroque) or even multiple ones (like Baroque and keyboard) and it would select pieces to play—great for long work or reading sessions. The playlists in this app so far are for beginners, not long term fans looking for new music to listen to. The UI is confusing (where do I see how much time is left for this track?) and sometimes it will only play the first track of a playlist or album and just crap out. Turns out the product (so far) is even more disappointing than the long delay in releasing it.
Lagging audio quality, hiccups, and constant crashes. On my Android 14 Pro Max on Verizon.
It’s at about 80% right now. I wish the Android app had CarPlay built in so I could control it from my lock screen like the music app on my commute to work, and I wish there was a version of the app for Mobile that wasn’t just the normal Android format. Fix those problems and I’ll adore it. The music and the algorithm is on point, I’m getting into Cello scores now because of this app.
