myVW for Android

It’s a pretty cool and useful app! My favorite feature is the lock/unlock because I often forgot to lock my car with my keys, and I can just unlock it with my phone. I think the push to start is also a cool feature. The app tells you the mileage and has other awesome things!

After 20,000 miles the car rides and runs like new…. Enjoy driving it!!

I can’t really figure out what the point of this app is. It gets stuck all the time and barely works for the features I want to use. Yesterday, I was charging my car and it told me in the app that I had reached a certain point, but it had stopped keeping track and wouldn’t show the current charging amount even though the car was still charging. As I write this, the app is telling me that my car is charging when I know for certain it is not even plugged in. When I try to use the climate feature, it just spins and never turns on. There are map, service, and other search features in the app but I don’t really see why I would ever use them when I can use other tools. The practical things I would actually use don’t work.

As a new ID.4 owner I’m flabbergasted such a great vehicle can be paired whit an App a child coding developer could make. Coming from Tesla and Ford vehicles, both having very good apps, this is quite the disappointment. I won’t go into drawn-out details why it’s a poor app but come on VW, you’re the one of the largest car manufacturers on earth, how hard can it be to shell out some $$$ for an app!!?

I love the app, I wish I was able to lock and unlock my car with Siri. I had it on my Atlas, you would think the ID.4 would have it also.
