It was a great app, at one time. However, now it isn’t that great. IDK if it was an update or what but it just keeps giving me the message to enable the app within messages.

Privacy policy???

When you enable message filtering iOS gives a warning that the developer may be forwarded messages from unknown contacts which may include sensitive information like OTPs and other info. I wanted to make sure this developer was trustworthy so I took a look at their privacy policy but the link 404s. The website itself has a splash page saying that banshai went out of business in 2019. So that does not give me a good feeling about using this app.

It’s simple, it works

I don’t need to subscribe to a service with sophisticated tools for detecting spam numbers from a database. With 10-15 keywords I can block 99.9% of the intrusive unsolicited political spam and the bogus extended warranty offers. Nice.
