A Foreign Land of Us for Android

Challenging but stuck at the snow globe :(

The puzzles are really clever, different and interesting. I’ve always liked their stories and artwork, this game is no exception. I’m on an 8th generation Mobile, iOS 14.4.2 and had no issues with controls or glitches. The controls seemed totally intuitive to me. I guess I started with the updated version, though. I would absolutely recommend. It is an exceptionally short game. It’d be really nice if they added to it. Even priced at a dollar, it’s a little short.

I have played many games from this company and they are truly wonderful. This time, however, playing “A foreign land” I’m so frustrated then I’m going to quit. There is one part where you have to scoot a string around pegs to make a shape of a man. You do this by sliding your finger across the Android “Nudging it”. The only problem is that the way they have a situated, it’s right where one would use that same gesture to close the app. So it’s not that it’s difficult to do the movement of the string, but rather to keep the app open. I’ve tried 10 times— I’m done :( I tried contacting cotton game but was unable to do so on their site.

Cannot advance beyond the snow globe. Tried shaking ‘like a snow globe’ every which way possible. Game is now stuck...will not open the trees to reveal house. So frustrating!

Worst controls EVER.
