The Energy Innovation Center is a Pittsburgh based, not-for-profit organization with a mission to engage corporate and community leaders, align workforce development and education, develop and demonstrate technology, and incubate businesses, to support emerging clean and sustainable energy markets.

2. All games in the EVS Coach series were developed in partnership with the Energy Innovation Center and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) with the goal of providing game-based practice to environmental service employees in-training.

3. EVS Coach: PPE Challenge along with all games in the EVS Coach series contains simplified aspects of environmental services training.

4. EVS Coach: PPE Challenge places you in the role of an environmental services technician (EVS) who is tasked with cleaning 5 rooms before time runs out.

5. The games are intended to be used as part of a larger training curriculum and, as such, are not complete representations of all aspects of environmental services work.

6. Reduce the risk of infecting yourself and others by wearing the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and practicing proper hand hygiene.

7. PPE Challenge focuses on the moments where making the right decisions regarding PPE and hand hygiene can eliminate the spread of infection.
