Coming from a wink hub and it’s definitely an improvement. Aeotec hub not perfect but its working and relatively simple integration with my old Lutron Switches and multiple cameras and sensors.
Used to work, but now for the past few days it says the tv is offline on the app but the TV works fine. I’ve restarted the router, deleted and reinstalled the app, just keeps saying the tv is offline despite the fact that it hasn’t once been offline and works perfectly. Update 7.10.22 Redownloded the app in June and it worked for a few days. Then back to showing the TV offline! Now a month later, still offline. What a joke.
It does most everything the remote control that came with the TV does or that I normally need. If you need to get into the TV settings it looks like you would need the original TV remote control but just watching TV changing channels and volume and selecting the source or smart hub apps it does great. I don’t have any home smart devices it will connect to so just using it for the TV and Blue Ray player.
Was upgrading from a Wink. Took awhile to figure out had to unpair existing items in order to pair with new hub. Easy to set up after that. Not able to set up custom auto shut off timer after an item is turned on.
Very very very (add another million very’s) useful
