The keyboard is of its own design. Symbols (and enter key) aren’t where they are on all other iOS keyboards. I’d LOVE to have a good medical autocorrect, but I couldn’t even go 5 minutes trying to use this keyboard.
It’s a decent app if you don’t Swype, otherwise you’re typing like it’s 2004
I appreciate they've added some medical abbreviations which are accessed by holding down the first better it starts wish but this could be more expensive. Furthermore thedictiobary needs to be updated with more extensive knowledge of medical conditions and terms. I have an excel sheet they could have that has way terms. The autocorrect function is very bad and corrects words unnecessarily, while neglecting to correct misspelled words. The replacement of correct words with nonsensical words is he most annoying. If you start typing a word and move the cursor to try to edit it, it doesn't recognize what you typed as part of the same word. I love the calculator function since Mobile's don't come with one. It is a good start and would be helpful in theory, but there's a lot of bugs to fix especially if you expect clinicians to be able to use this on the Fly. i've had to correct the last sentence tons of times because it keeps changing my words!!! Also the undo botton will delete a whole block of text just written, and there is no redo. The Watson search function doesn't work. It's terrible how annoying this autocorrect function is and it is hard to make it accept a word. Furthermore the version of the word it allows you t select to accept is always capitalized unnecessarily. Fix this ASAP
It’s amazing that there’s no option to supplement the Google spell checker with a full medical dictionary. That's a big problem but this is hilariously not the solution. I think it can correctly spell some medication names. But the autocorrect mangles everyday abbreviations. MRI --> "sri” or "moi", LDL --> "lil", DM --> "dma", and it replaces normal English ("Engwish" - seriously!) with ("wit") gibberish. I can't imagine what went wrong ("wrone") here. Also, caps turns on randomly ("randonly").
This keyboard corrects words to things that make 0 sense. In addition, you’d think a medical keyboard would have medical abbreviations but it doesn’t. Do not recommend.
