Love the app and I have been using it for almost a full year. I am still finding features I did realize where there. Is there any hope for the possibility to record and play back audio on the frequency like we can do in the widows version or from the Maestro? I know we can have canned macros for contesting but I am looking at live so audio. Also, can a SSTV app be added as a tool? Steve, N8XSF
Marcus has done a great job with this app that I have been using for quite some time now. It’s very handy and fun to be able to operate with my Mobile from my easy chair in the Family Room. Great job Marcus!
It worked great until the last update. How do we contact you to resolve issues? When selecting “Contact Developer” it brings you to Flex’s web page, not yours.
The app can be downloaded for free, but then requires a $60 in-app purchase to use even its core functionality. The price isn’t the issue, it’s reasonable for what the app does, the approach just comes off as scammy as I’ve now downloaded an app that essentially does nothing without at least one additional purchase. Just list the price in the store. I’m frankly surprised Google allowed this.
It’s very nice to be able to control my flexradio from my Mobile. Sitting on the deck or away from home. The Mobile SmartSDR gives nearly complete functioning of the flex. Held back on the final star as the user interface does not have any keyboard control. I cannot type in frequencies or use the arrow keys to tune across the bands. While the Mobile is primarily a tap-device, the keyboard is a very common accessory and should be supported within the SmartSDR app.
