Sorry, I follow the instructions to calibrate this app. After calibration, I again, follow the instructions, eg., take a photo and enter the height, and press calculate. The distance is always shown as the height. Specifically: 1. Take the photo. 2. Enter the height, say 3 feet. 3. Press calculate, it shows the object as being 3 feet away.
