The app works ok except that it has no ability to set a time for the lights to come on. It appears that the app is designed for you to turn on at the same time daily, at whatever time you turn it on but I have found the lights on hours earlier. The Show 1 etc. used to be able to set a mode and time but appear to have lost functionality.
I am extremely frustrated with these lights. Like other reviewers, I feel the idea was great and if it worked properly I would be thrilled. However, you can only set the amount of time you want the lights to go on, not the time you want them to go on and off. But the most frustrating thing, is that I have icicles and C9 lights that have to be controlled as one. Why? They are two different types of lights. It totally ruins the affect. Fix it! We spent a lot of money on these lights for them to be useless.
My 2019 lights are no linger supported on the app. I updated it and now it no longer works.
Bought 6 strands in 2018, bought 2 candy cane strands and 2 more strands in 2019 and 2020. The updates on the app do not support the older lights. I don’t understand how there is not a fix for that. Very poor developing of the updates!!!
The lights will go back on after you shut them off and not worth the money timer only works for 4 hours
