This is simple, easy to use and very useful. I keep track of what happened when by having this app open most of the time while I’m writing or taking notes. Time & Date Stamp is especially useful for tracking the progress of pending financial transactions and doing status reports.
Quick way to copy the time and/or date to clipboard, for rapid insertion into to any document. Does the Job. Method: Switch to app; command+C; switch back; command+P. There is a drop-down list of what (just one choice) can be copied to the clipboard, though this is settable — there’s a list of a couple of dozen choices of layout. ** Suggested future improvements: — I’d love to be able to choose what was Copied, at a single keystroke, without having to fiddle around in the app. e.g. Command+1 copies…. [time] Command+2 copies…. [date] Command+3 copies…. [short-form date] Command+4 copies…. [short Date + Time] Command+5 copies…. [Long Date + Time] etc, with the user able to pre-set what each command copied to the clipboard. This would massively improve the app. Also, more flexibility about date & time formats would be nice — though the current choice offered is not too bad. (my personal preference is 7-Oct-16, 7 October 2016, 1:03pm, etc)
